Getting So Big

Oliver is progressing nicely into a little boy. He's doing all the things that big boys do like...

Eating his fruits...

Sitting up all by himself....

Smiling big for the camera...

Standing up...

Posing with Mom...

and wearing his Harley Davidson doo rag (is that how that's spelled?) so he can be like Grandpa Chris

The Babies are Coming!

Even though last year every person I know had a baby, including myself, this year a couple more managed to be born.

Congrats to Cathie and Rob! Here's Alexander William born May 10th, 8lbs 4oz

And our new niece, Agatha Elizabeth born May 20th, 8lbs 11oz. Good job Sara!

Oliver and Lucy

Elisa and I had a great time over our respective birthdays. We ate, drank, and were pretty darn merry. We didn't take a ton of pictures, but here are a few that we took of the babies.

Here's what Lucy and Oliver looked like 4 short months ago at their first meeting.
And here they are now!

Oliver Wants to Eat Everything...

...and pretty much does. I left him in the living room playing contently for a few minutes only to find him eating a cross stitch pattern I had left on the floor. Don't worry he didn't ingest any, I found little slobbery wads of paper all around him, but I'm really going to have to start baby proofing and being aware of everything around him.

Caught red handed.

The destruction

He eats his rubber ducky in the bath tub.

He thinks its a huge pacifier.

He may not be eating anything here, but mark my words, by the end of our walk he will be eating that hat.

He eats his toys.

But takes time out to wave to Daddy.

He eats the remote. Notice he only has one sock, that's because he ate the other one.

That looks tasty.

He just looks handsome in these pictures.

And when Oliver is ready to actually eat food, here are some of the Louisiana delicacies he can partake in. DEEELISH!

5 Months Old

Well here he is, five months old. He's becoming very active and never wants to sit still.

He is getting very good at doing push ups, and he loves to drool while doing them.

He wants to challenge Daddy to a push up contest.

He's started sucking on his bottom lip.

He hates riding in his car seat usually, but here he's able to find a moment of tranquility.

He loves to eat his feet.

Yum Yum

And sleep with them.

He's also into reading his books and growing hair, and pretty much being handsome and awesome!
